それぞれの絵には、その国の新聞がコラージュされています。
楽しい絵の中に、時に悲しいニュースも潜んでいますが、それもその国のその時代を表した現実です。
そしてこのシリーズには、時々絵の中に登場する「にわとりくん」が、世界の旅に出かけるというストーリーが隠されています。
このにわとりくんは、作家 nao morigo 自身の心の中に潜む勇敢さとワクワクした気持ちのようです。
